Bushings
Bushings are also known as dry bearings because of their layer of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or plastic material, which allows an extremely low friction coefficient, with a negligible stick-slip phenomenon.
This way, it is possible to use bearings even with poor lubrication, thus increasing their life and making them maintenance-free.
Among the advantages of dry bearings, excellent chemical resistance is especially important, which renders them inert to most gases and solvents. To this, low levels of water absorption should be added, which limits swelling, corrosion and oxidation.
Lock nuts
Lock nuts play the important role of anchoring bearings or other components to shafts or adapter sleeves.
The KM series we offer has several advantages, including a simple, reliable and stable locking, a wide range of sizes and diameters to choose from, easy mounting and dismounting by anyone.
Features
KM lock nuts feature a metric thread and were designed to be used together with lock washers.
Washers
Washers or lock washers have the role of locking the lock nut in position when one of its tabs is inserted into one of the slots on the nut’s outside part.
Features
The MB series we offer ensures a simple, stable and reliable fastening. It is used with lock nuts and thus contributes to the end goal of securing bearings or other components to shafts or adapter sleeves.
