When are Seeger rings used?

Seeger rings are used in all industrial fields and come in two types:

• internal, for mounting within bores
• external, in case they are mounted onto shafts.

In both cases, the rings are inserted at a specially made slot.

Seeger rings feature an open circle, where the two ends have bores for engaging the so-called Seeger pliers, essential for mounting and dismounting the rings.

Made in different materials, Seeger rings can come in various types, to offer the right solution for any size bore and shaft.
